Ten Windie timer sets for the first ten sailors who send us a video.

What you get

First ten videos. Send one after that and we will still send you a strap set. And you get the set whatever you say about the product. We are not asking you to be nice about it, we are asking you to be honest about it.

Say these five things

  1. Your name, and where you sail.
  2. What you do. Sailor, coach, race officer, instructor, club member.
  3. Which Windie you use. Hold it up so we can see it.
  4. One moment it mattered. A start sequence, a wind call, a day on the committee boat.
  5. One sentence you would say to another sailor.

Sixty seconds covers all five. Three minutes is the maximum. English or your own language, we add the subtitles.

Five filming rules

  • Your phone, held upright, one take. Stumble on a word and keep going.
  • Wind beats the microphone. Turn your back to it, or talk in the shelter of the dock and film the gear out on the water.
  • Light on your face. Face the sun, do not stand in front of it.
  • Sunglasses off while you talk. We want to see your eyes.
  • No editing, no music. Send the raw file exactly as your phone recorded it.
