FAQ

Will the Skipper Set arrive before Christmas?

For Christmas delivery, order by 25 November in Europe, or by 10 November for the rest of the world, including the UK. We still take orders after these dates, and delivery time then depends on your local post.

Is the monocular waterproof?

Yes. It is sealed and rubber armoured for marine use, so rain, spray and a dunking are all fine. After a day on salt water, rinse it with fresh water and dry it.

Can I use the monocular with glasses on?

Yes. Fold the rubber eyecup down and your glasses sit where the eyecup was. There is 18 mm of eye relief, so you still see the whole picture.

How does the distance scale work without batteries?

It is a scale etched into the optics. Count how many marks an object fills, divide its real height in metres by that number, and you have the distance in kilometres. It is an estimate rather than a laser measurement, but nothing can run out of charge.

Is there a warranty?

The Marine Monocular comes with a 2 year warranty. The cooling towels are not covered by the warranty.
