Why Choose the Stainless Steel Handheld Fog Horn?
🛠️ Built for the Sea – Crafted from corrosion-resistant 304 stainless steel that stands up to salt, spray, and time.
📏 Compact Power – At just 17 cm, it’s small enough for your pocket yet powerful enough for the open water.
⚓ Trusted by Pros – The go-to choice for race officials, buoy tenders, rescue crews, and small craft skippers.
Why use a Stainless Steel Handheld Fog Horn?
🔊 Signature Tone – A deeper, more distinct sound than standard whistles – impossible to miss, even in chaos.
🔄 Signal with Confidence – Perfect for mark changes, approaching another vessel, or sending a clear marine alert.
📣 Hear It Across the Waves – Delivers a commanding 120 dB blast that cuts through wind, waves, and engine noise.

Rule 33 – Changing the Next Leg of the Course
When race officials or mark layers need to change the next leg of the course, Racing Rules of Sailing Rule 33 requires:
“The signal shall be the display of flag C with repetitive sounds and one or both of the following:
(a) a compass bearing indicating the direction to the new mark, or
(b) a green triangular flag or board or a red rectangular flag or board to indicate that the mark has been moved to starboard or to port.”
(RRS Rule 33)
That’s why a reliable, loud signal horn is not only smart – it’s part of the RO’s Essential Kit .
